Used to high end hotels I selected this one even tho it's mainland brand because of the high reviews on the website. We went during the Ice festival, the hotel however seemed very quit and empty, upon arrival and for the check-in they had difficulties speaking english as we booked a Suite and we were 3 adults I logically asked if something could be done since they gave us a King bed (expected a Double bedroom which combined would have been enough for 3). They didn't even bothered to consider my request and the manager itself came without being able to speak proper english relying on his front desk officer who couldn't neither.We dropped the affair and went to our room which was overall nice but some of the room materials were broken such a bathroom door and living room window (which couldn't be closed when it was -27 outside). Room service was alright the lady was nice but the concierge if I can call that a concierge obviously tried to rip us off (like everyone in the city) by calling a cab who obviously wanted to charge us different fee since he knew we wanted to do the touristic spot. The hotel breakfast was nice, nothing grand or too impressive but not bad. We paid almost 5k￥ for two nights and I feel like that with this price I could have stay in a way better location/service/amenities and comprehensive hotel.
